Who we are
FlightDeck ("we", "us") provides a web application for running pub and club darts leagues, at flightdeck.club. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].
What we collect, and why
- League secretaries: email address and a hashed password, to create and manage your account. We never store your password in plain text.
- Team captains and players: a name and a 4-digit PIN, used to sign in and submit results for your team. PINs are intentionally simple, single-use-per-team codes — not a security-sensitive password — and are stored as entered so a secretary can look them up or regenerate them on your behalf.
- Match results and stats: scores, legs won, 180s, checkouts, and any photo evidence a captain chooses to upload of a scoreboard, to keep an accurate league record.
- Contact form submissions: whatever name, email and message you submit, sent directly to us by email and not stored in our database.
- Payment details: if a league subscribes to a paid plan, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We keep a record of your Stripe customer and subscription ID and its status, so we know which leagues have paid access.
- Technical data: we use a session cookie (strictly necessary to keep you signed in — not used for tracking or advertising) and briefly note IP addresses to prevent automated abuse of our login and sign-up forms. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run FlightDeck: Stripe (payment processing), SMTP2GO (sending emails), and Cloudflare (network security and delivery). Each only receives the data it needs to perform its function, and none are permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep league, team and match data for as long as a league remains active on FlightDeck. If you'd like your league or account removed, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it's used. Email [email protected] and we'll respond as quickly as we can. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
